Environments

PayHero Africa is served from two hosts. Payments go to the API host; Teams — accounts, members, invites and team KYC — go to the auth host.

The examples in these docs use two environment variables:

Both hosts accept the same API key.

API versions

• Global (/api/global/...) — the current, recommended API. One endpoint for pay-in and pay-out across all supported countries.
• V1 (/api/v2/payments, /api/v2/withdraw) — the Kenya wallet endpoints, kept for backward compatibility. Prefer the global endpoint for new integrations.
